Snake meets Porcelain
„Snake meets Porcelain“
Link: GERMAN VERSION
Porcelain is a natural product, which is converted by heat and fire from a cold material like „kaolin-feldspar-quartz“ to a new, hard, classy object.
The inspiration for this project is to change a warm body into a stylistically cold object, with the information that cold-blooded creatures like snakes, wether in pictoral or natural form, are brought to life.
Life is built up of a change between cold and warm as well as life and death or origin and impermanence.
We can influence our being with the changing of mind and act.
Inflexible and fixed elements can get into movement as well as something movable can return into regulated structures.
Our team for the realization of this issue were:
ASTRID – model
ERNST WIESER & ELISABETH PRESSLAUER – bodypainting
ANDREA HELMEL – make-up
OSWIN EDER – photography
